We have one goal, to be the best independent auto repair shop in Marin County! Well-established, independent automotive repair shop is seeking a personable, friendly, outgoing, sales - oriented Customer Service / Service Adviser.

Professional in appearance and demeanor Good communication skills - written and oral Demonstrate extreme attention to detail Team player with leadership potential Excellent people skills both on the phone and in person.
Friendly welcoming attitude, ready to help the customer Able to effectively communicate with team members and customers in a professional manner The ability to help the progress and flow of work through the shop and office Ability to understand overall profitability Computer proficiency including experience with MS Word and Excel Valid insurable driver's license and clean driving record Able to keyboard 40 words per minute Possess computer skills and ability to adapt to company systems Actively participate in training, leadership meetings and retain and use those skills learned Ability to speak tactfully under pressure and to work in a fast-pace environment We offer:

As a Service Advisor you are expected to:
Under limited supervision, the Service Advisor (SA) determines services needed by communicating with the technician, accessing information obtained by technicians, and referencing auto manufacturers ' service intervals.
Prepares service estimates and provides an estimated cost analysis of automotive repairs and routine maintenance to the customer Predicts the time needed for completion, and stays in constant communication with the customer during the repair process Effectively communicate with customers regarding routine maintenance/repair services, and conduct follow-ups regarding unsold services and customer inquiries Performs opening and closing responsibilities Schedules appointments, answer phones, and collects funds for services performed Perform other duties as requested.
